[Okc] Volunteering at the Food Bank

Hi Sustainable OKCers,
 
We have scheduled a volunteer event at the Regional Food bank of Oklahoma (3355 S. Purdue in OKC) for Monday, August 29th.  We will start about 5:30 or 6 (whenever you can get there from work.)  When you arrive walk out back behind the big building and we should be back by the greenhouse or in the gardens.  Wear grubby clothes and be prepared to weed, pick produce, transplant plants, or get a lesson from Bruce about worms. The gardens are organic and the food supports lots of homeless shelters and food banks across the state.  We have done this several times before and always have a great time socializing, talking about sustainability stuff, and learning about organic gardening while getting our hands dirty!  Hope you can make it!  
 
Please let me know if you can go so we can give the food bank an approximate count of volunteers.  Thanks and have a wonderful day!
