We still have some openings for the Oklahoma City
permaculture workshop, June 23-24-25. June 23rd
will be an evening presentation, it will be all
day Saturday and Sunday until about 4 or 5 PM.
Saturday will start about 9 AM, Sunday about 10
AM.

This is a weekend journey to explore the basics of
the permaculture design process. Students will
work on a permaculture design for a central
Oklahoma City urban property. The group will be
divided into teams, each of which has a specific
aspect of the design to prepare. Through this
experience, you will learn the basics of the
permaculture design process.

The instructors are Dan and Cynthia Hemenway, of
Elfin Permaculture, a project of the Barking Frogs
Permaculture Center in Florida.

There are 3 components to the workshop: (1) an
introductory slide show which illustrates
permaculture applied to many different areas, (2)
Class work with discussion, and (3) design work.
Following the workshop, on Sunday afternoon,
participants will have an opportunity to discuss
and ask questions about their own projects.

There are some required readings. More
information is available at
http://www.bettertimesinfo.org/okcpermaworkshop.htm .

Tuition is $100 if you send your $30 deposit so
that it is postmarked April 1 or earlier. We have
scholarships (full and partial) available. We can
provide housing for people from out of the area.
