Oklahoma

Central Oklahoma
The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) is sponsoring
Bike to Work Day for Central Oklahoma. "Group Rides" are planned in the
cities of Oklahoma City, Norman, and Edmond on Friday, May 19, 2006.
ACOG is asking citizens to participate in a survey focused on bicycling.
The survey is intended to help determine characteristics of the metro's
bicycling community, and give direction to cycling components
(intermodal elements) of future transportation planning. The survey is
interactive and can be taken online from April 6 to May 19. To access
the survey and for further information on Central Oklahoma's Bike to
Work Day event (route maps and times); visit the ACOG Web site at
www.acogok.org <http://www.acogok.org> . To contact ACOG's Bicycle
Coordinator, email biketowork at acogok.org <mailto:biketowork at acogok.org>

Series kickoff at the Williams Greens Stage at Mayfest. Cyclists are
encouraged to bike to work and meet up for breakfast, speakers, booths
and demonstrations beginning at 7:30 a.m. INCOG has extended the event
throughout summer, staging one Bike to Work Day per month from May to
August. On each designated Bike to Work Day, from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.,
