CALL FOR AUDITIONS

 

The City of Oklahoma City is currently looking for a group of diverse
and talented individuals to fill roles in an upcoming marketing campaign
to promote the City's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility. 

 

The campaign will consist of television spots and print ads.  Actors (2)
and actresses (2) looking to audition should be interested in being a
part of an ongoing marketing campaign. 

 

Characters:

Hazmat Girl:  Female, Young, Energetic, Out-Spoken, Intelligent, 

Has no personal bubble, Never met a person she didn't like but
constantly talks to people she doesn't know, Has never had a bad day,
She's a bit of a know-it-all.

Citizen 

Painter:  Male, Older adult, Very patient, "Hard-worker" 

personality but takes his time on his projects, Quiet until he has
something important to say, Stores leftover paint cans for years and
thinks that is fine as long as they have a lid.

Citizen

Green Thumb:  Female, Middle Age - Older adult, "Please don't step on my


grass!" personality, Her lawn is her baby, Very surprised when
confronted, Wants to do the right thing with her pesticides but thinks
she already does by throwing them in the garbage or pouring them into
storm drains.

Citizen 

Home Mechanic:  Male, Young Adult, "I'll-Do-It-Myself" personality,
working in his 

shop is his passion, Reckless with leftover materials, He thinks storing
old car batteries and used oil in his shop is just fine but needs to be
told otherwise.

 

Auditions will be held on the campus of Oklahoma City University in the
Wanda L. Bass School Of Music, 2501 N. Blackwelder, Petree Recital Hall
(tentative) on Friday, May 19th, 2006 from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm and are
open to the public.
