Sustainable Solutions: Guilt-Free Holiday Shopping

Wednesday, November 15, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. 

 

On Wednesday, November 15, the Midwest City Library and Sustainable OKC
present Guilt-Free Holiday Shopping, a free workshop at the Midwest
Library.  This is part of the the Sustainable Solutions series - a year
of sustainability education.  Susie Shields (Department of Environmental
Quality) and Midwest City Library staff will lead this workshop.  

 

WHO:  The workshop is free and open to the public

WHAT:  Guilt-free holiday shopping

WHEN:  Wednesday, November 15, 6:30 - 8:00.

WHERE:  Midwest City Library (8143 E Reno Ave)

WHY:  To learn about ways to support the environment and local economy
through holiday shopping: local, "green," recycled, fair trade, and
more.  Susie Shields will also discuss "Use Less Stuff" ideas.

 

Pre-registration is appreciated.  Call the Midwest Library Information
