Sustainable Solutions:  Measuring and Reducing Your Ecological Footprint

Saturday, February 17, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. 

 

This Saturday, February 17, the Midwest City Library and Sustainable OKC
present Measuring and Reducing Your Ecological Footprint, a free
workshop at the Midwest City Library.  This is part of the Sustainable
Solutions series - a year of sustainability education.  Jennifer Alig
(Department of Environmental Quality) and Midwest City Library staff
will lead this workshop.  

 

WHO:  This workshop is free and open to the public

WHAT:  All about your Ecological Footprint

WHEN:  Saturday, February 17, 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.

WHERE:  Midwest City Library (8143 E. Reno Ave)

WHY:  Each of us will measure our Ecological Footprint, which is the
amount of productive land and water required to sustain our lifestyle -
in other words, our impact on the earth!  We will also discuss easy and
meaningful ways to reduce our Ecological Footprints.

 

Pre-registration is appreciated.  To register, call the Midwest City
Library Information Desk at 732-4828.
