Call for Nominations

 

The Oklahoma Sustainability Network is seeking nominations from OKC metro area homeowners who would like to make their homes more energy efficient.  Three homes will be selected to receive free energy audits.  To participate, homeowners must agree to allow the Oklahoma Sustainability Network to document the energy audits and must commit to spend at least $500 on recommended upgrades.

 

Nominations will be accepted through February 9, 2007, and one home will be selected from each of the following categories:

1.	Historic preservation district
2.	Mid-century
3.	New or recent construction

Conditions:

1.	Homeowners must commit to spending at least $500 on home improvements recommended by the energy auditor.  Improvements must be made within four weeks of audit.  
2.	Homeowners must live in Oklahoma County or Norman.
3.	Homeowners must be willing to have the home energy audit and suggested improvements video recorded.  All images and audio captured during the documentation process are the property of the Oklahoma Sustainability Network.  Video will be used for educational purposes at the Oklahoma Sustainability Network conference on April 20-21 and at other venues.
4.	Energy audit must be completed by February 28, 2007.
