[OKC] Fall Festival October 27

Fall Family Gardening Festival 
at The Village Community Garden
  Saturday, October 27, 2007 1-5 PM
   
  The Village Community Garden invites you to join us for our first Village Garden Fall Event!
   
  A fun and educational morning where you can:
  •         Learn about vegetables you can grow in cold weather
  •         Help installcold frames to protect the winter garden
  •         Get involved in community gardening
  •         Have fun and meet your neighbors!
   
  
  Plus, there will be special activities for kids:
  •         Create stepping stones to decorate the garden
  •         Make row markers for seedling identification
   
  There will also be SNACKS and DRINKS for everyone!
   
  
  The Village Community Garden is a project of Sustainable OKC with funding from The City of the Village and in partnership with Urban Harvest of the Regional Food Bank and the Metropolitan Library System.
   
  The garden is located at the Village Library 10307 N Penn Ave.
