[OKC] support energy conservatioin -- email the corporation commissioners today

FYI - you've probably seen the email regarding the hearing on Demand Side
Management a/k/a energy conversation taking place today at the Corporation
Commission. 

 

You can support the implementation of a program by making these points:

 

.         families and businesses need help with understanding, utilizing,
and purchasing higher efficiency options

.         energy efficiency is a much better alternative to new generation
(it's cleaner and cheaper and thriftier)

.         rules should require the utilities to delivery an ambitious and
exemplary program comparable to the leading states in the country.  After
all, the utilities are asking us to pay for the program.

.         a good efficiency program could replace the output of an entire
power plant.
