Subject: Georgie wants to tell you about Catholic Heart Camp
Dear Friends and Leaders,
For the third straight year, almost 200 Catholic teenagers from across the
United States will soon be in OKC to help re-hab homes in the Riverpark
Neighborhood Association. After this summer they will have rehabbed over 70
homes in this well-deserving neighborhood.
However, they need our help! Most all of the supplies have already been
donated, but they are still in desperate need of both interior and exterior
paint.
They will take any color (they mix them together and make a brand new and
usable color!) but they will also take cash donations so they can go buy the
paint they need.
Riverpark is an extraordinary neighborhood where the average home is valued
at $34,000, and the neighborhood pride is priceless. They have cleaned up
and created an atmosphere in a neighborhood that all are now proud to call
home., They are truly the kind of people that make us proud to live in OKC.
This is why Catholic Heart Camp partners with Riverpark year after year.
These young people sign up and even pay to come to OKC for the privilege of
helping our residents live a better and safer life in their modest homes.
The least we can do is help them with the supplies needed.
They still need over 50 gallons of paint!!
How you can help....
* If you can donate paint, bring it by the Neighborhood Alliance
offices (1236 NW 36th St.). If we are not there, you can leave it on the
front porch.
* If you can make a tax deductible donation to help them buy their own
paint, make your checks out to Neighborhood Alliance and mail it or bring it
by (1236 NW 36th St., Okc, 73118) and 100% of the money will go to Riverpark
Catholic Heart Camp projects.
* Ask your friends, neighbors, church groups, or employer if they have
paint or funds they can donate.
Campers will be in town on July 6, and we are desparate! If you can, please
help ASAP!
Thanks so very much!

Hi Georgie!
I have been scrambling to come up with enough paint for the job sites. The
projects that are highlighted in blue in the paint column are still
short.(50+ gallons) If you know of anyone who may want to help us with any
of these colors that would be great.
We have always been able to complete the projects one way or another and I
have no doubt that we will this year too! And that's because of sweet people
like you!
Anyway the next few days will be crazzzyyy! Oh yeah, I received the
pass-through donation today. Thank you!
See you later, thank you for everything!!!
Love you,
Jeanna
One of our projects (Donna Boyd's) will break your heart. I'll have to tell
you all about it. It is definitely right at the top next to Raymond's for
being a disaster.
