Please spread the word. This sounds like a great opportunity for some of our

Subject: Great new Program from Community Action Agency!!!
Dear Neighborhood Leaders,
I just could not wait to tell you all about a fabulous new program sponsored
locally by Community Action Agency (CAA). You, your neighbors or your
family members may qualify and SHOULD take advantage of this. It is
partially funded by the stimulus bill and will definitely help out thousands
of families in OKC but it is time limited, so you need to sign up today!!
There is no reason why banks should be the only ones to get bailed out with
Stimulus money!!!
Here is your chance to get some direct, free help!!
Name: Weatherization Assessment Program (WAP) sponsored by the Community
Action Agency of Oklahoma City (CAA)
Contact Info: Sidney Hendrickson, Public Information Officer (CAA),
232-0199 Ext. 1409 Public at caaofokc.org
Program: Designed to make your home more weather-tight and energy efficient.
The goal is to greatly lower your energy bills and help your home be more
energy efficient and more comfortable!!!
How it Works: You simply apply for the free, no-cost program by calling
232-0199. CAA will do an energy audit of your home. They will then help
you determine what you need to be more energy efficient and then fix as many
of the problems as they can (up to $7,000). They will install extra
insulation, new windows, new exterior doors, caulk, weather stripping, etc.
They might even help you with a new refrigerator! You do not have to pay
this back!! It is free of charge and a gift to you from the US stimulus
package!!!
Who is Eligible:
* You must reside in Oklahoma or Canadian County
* You must be at 200% of the federal poverty level (Family of one
cannot make over $21,660, Family of 2 cannot make over $29,140 and a family
of four cannot make over $44,100: other income qualifiers available by
calling CAA)
* You do not have to own the home that is having the energy audit. As
long as you fit the income qualifications and have the permission of your
landlord, they will help renters!!
* Priority assistance is available for persons over 60, persons with
disabilities, or households with children under 12.
This is a free program. A grant to you and your family to help you live
more economically and comfortably in your home! Call today and take
advantage of this great program (232-0199).
. Let your neighbors and friends know about this program.
. Invite CAA to come speak to your next neighborhood meeting and help
spread the word.

. Sponsored by a very trustworthy and long term non-profit here in
OKC. You can trust Community Action Agency!!
