[OKC] Expressing Support is simple OK-SJR-35

Hi Everyone,

 

I'm new to this email group.  
But I wanted to just say calling my representatives about passing the Rail System Resolution (OK-SJR-35) was the easiest things I've done all week.  

 

I urge everyone to do it.


For those of you that are shy about it like I was, all I had to do was leave my name and what resolution I was supporting with the securitary of the representative.  That's it!

The SOKC listserv is open to anyone who wants to post info … i.e. you can do it yourself … just send to okc at sustainableokc.org. 
 
FYI – no need to run by me – just go for it lady! The only thing I try to do on political stuff is always preface with, “if you’re inclined or interested” to make it clear we’re not lobbying --  just passing on info.

I made my three calls. It took less than 2 minutes. I told them, "I would really, really, like to see SJR-35 be brought to a House Floor vote." and told them where I was calling from. It was pretty painless and if even half of us do it, it will make a huge difference. They need to know we are out here. Thanks. -Sj
