Subject: [OSN Announce] Sheep & Goat Field Day Oct. 25 - Booneville, AR

The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) will host a two-day sheep
and goat field day on October 23-24 in Booneville, Arkansas.
University and agency educators from all over the southeastern U.S.
will conduct a variety of programs.

The first day consists of an afternoon workshop on the FAMACHA method
of parasite control; preregistration with a $10 fee is required for
this workshop.

The second day includes presentations on topics such as parasite
control by grazing management as well as alternative methods, browse
and forage, meat goat breed comparison, and health programs.  The day
concludes with a tour of the USDA-ARS Sheep and Goat Farm.
