[OKC] Your Invitation to the FREE OSN Convention/Members Meeting

Sign up for the FREE inaugural OSN Members Meeting and Convention this
Saturday from 9:30 to 3:30.  It is going to be a great event with
information on the local chapters and statewide goings-on, along with
brainstorming sessions on the future of OSN and the chance to meet
Oklahoma's sustainability crowd.  Come out and join the fun in a
beautiful setting on Stroud Lake! 

 

 

Hello Sustainable OKC!

 

Please plan on attending the inaugural Oklahoma Sustainability Network
Convention and Members Meeting, coming up on Saturday, October 31 at The
Wilderness Center in Stroud, OK.  

 

The 2009 OSN Convention is a great way to get involved with OSN
activities, meet fellow sustainably-minded people, learn more about OSN
projects and events, and meet up with the various OSN chapters.  There
will be time for discussion and input from those in attendance, so come
out and participate in the OSN Convention and meet all of those people
we know through the listservs. 

 

There is no charge to attend the statewide OSN Convention and Members
Meeting.  The OSN Convention will be a relatively informal gathering
where all of OSN's exciting projects can be discussed, and we can
brainstorm future directions for OSN.  The lunch will be potluck or
brown bag, so either bring a dish to share or bring your own lunch.
Please carpool if possible - you can use the SOKC and/or OSN listservs
to see if anyone wants to carpool from your area. 

 

The OSN Convention and Members Meeting is being held for the first time
this year, and it is a statewide event.  This is a different event from
the OSN annual conference, which is a formal conference with
registration fees, exhibitors, and formal presentations.  It is also
different from the upcoming SOKC members meeting, which will focus on
the OKC-metro area. 

 

The evite for the 2009 OSN Convention and Members Meeting is attached
below.  Please click the "VIEW INVITE" link on the evite to get more
info on the 2009 OSN Convention.  Then RSVP in the box on the
invitation.  If the RSVP box thinks that you are someone else, click the
link to change the RSVP to your name.
