Because you’ve been nominated in the past (maybe you’ve won), we’re asking you to help us put a spotlight on other deserving work this November.

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful celebrates environmental excellence by presenting prestigious awards at a gala event each November.  This year, the banquet and ceremonies will take place in Oklahoma City at the historic Skirvin Hilton Hotel.  All category finalists will be honored and winners announced.   Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett personally will welcome our statewide guests to the event

The banquet, silent auction, entertainment and award presentations are exciting, inspiring and get solid media attention.  Surely within your operation, there’s a project, a person, a special volunteer, a campaign or a business deserving of special recognition for environmental excellence, beautification or sustainable green practices.  Please consider submitting, or causing to be submitted – a nomination for the 2009 Keep Oklahoma Beautiful awards competition.
