households
The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) is designed to improve the
energy efficiency of the homes of low income households. This program offers
a variety of services including installation of energy-efficient measure
such as attic insulation, weather stripping, caulking, heating and cooling
adjustments, air sealing, and in some cases, window replacement, heating and
cooling systems and other energy-consuming appliances. The goal of this
program is to reduce energy consumption and improve the health, safety, and
comfort of low income households.
Please use the attached flyer to advertise this program. This is a resource
that could be beneficial to many households. Applications are accepted
through Community Action. If you are unsure which Community Action serves
your area, you can go to www.okacaa.org <http://www.okacaa.org/> for an
agency list, select a county from the map of Oklahoma.
Thank you for helping connect low income families to local resources.
