Please Join Us for Our Plan Kickoff!

We want to hear your thoughts about transportation planning in Central
Oklahoma.

Central Oklahoma residents interested in transportation issues are invited
to an open house meeting. 
 
When: Tuesday, October 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. 
Where: Oklahoma City Community Foundation, 1000 N. Broadway.  
 
The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments (ACOG) is hosting the event
to encourage public comments that will help kickoff the development of
Encompass 2035, the region's long-range transportation plan.
 
Transportation planners will be available to answer questions and receive
comments at the come and go event.  Area maps, plan goals, results from a
recent survey, and regional population and employment patterns will be on
display.  Those attending will be able to interact and engage in the
planning process.
 
As the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), ACOG coordinates
transportation planning efforts within the Oklahoma City Area Regional
Transportation Study (OCARTS) area.  The OCARTS region encompasses all of
Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties and portions of Canadian, Grady, Logan and
McClain Counties.
 
The meeting location is accessible for people with disabilities.
Participants taking public transportation should consider METRO Transit's
Route 2.  For more details, call 235-RIDE.
