%2Fwww.thegreatsqueeze.com%2F&id=preview> The Great Squeeze: Surviving the
Human Project. This film explores our current ecological and economic
predicament stemming from dependence on cheap, easy to produce energy, was
an official selection in 2009 at film festivals around the world, and won
Best Feature at the Colorado Environmental Film Festival. It's free and open
to the public.
Our Friday film also opens a weekend of learning in the Training for
Transition workshop <http://sustainableokc.org/events.php> . After screening
"The Great Squeeze," we'll host an informal discussion, facilitated by James
Stovall, a professional mediator, and chat with our Training for Transition
workshop trainers from the Transition US national offices, Bill Aal and
Zaida Amaral, about the Transition movement and news on how this model is
working across the nation and around the world. Workshop participants are
encouraged but not required to attend.
