PLEASE THINK ABOUT WHERE YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO GO

The addition of a modern streetcar has the potential to
completely redefine our pedestrian relationship to downtown. Recently,
the Central Oklahoma Transportation & Parking Authority and the City of
Oklahoma City began a public outreach process to gather information on
where the streetcar should go, how often it should come by, and what
hours it should operate. These incredibly key decisions can only be
made through your input into the process.

We have attached a link in this email to their survey asking
you to consider where you think the streetcar should go in the greater
downtown area. No answer is a bad answer. Think about how you might
use it to travel to locations outside of your reasonable walking
distance. Think about visitors to our fair city and what sights in the
greater downtown that you would take them to if you were there to show
them.

Finally, imagine our city with a full-fledged rail transit system years
from now with this streetcar as the centerpiece. If you were able to
take transit to a centralized hub located somewhere in the general
Bricktown area, where would you like the streetcar to take you to get to
work and back?

Here is a direct link to the survey. To prevent individuals
from submitting answers more than once, the survey asks for your name
and email. This information will not be used in any subversive way
other than to protect the collation of data. This survey will be active
until Thursday, April 22nd.

A second e-mail will follow asking how often and what hours should it
operate.
