The Aldo Leopold Foundation is making a movie! We were planning to announce this exciting new project later this spring, but we're telling you now because we need your help! We've applied for a grant for $50,000 from Pepsi's Refresh Everything contest. The film Green Fire will introduce the viewer to famed conservationist and writer Aldo Leopold. It will frame his life in the historical context of the American environmental movement, while tracing his legacy in conservation projects today. The film will encourage audiences to think about Leopold’s land ethic idea and how it may apply to the environmental problems we face today.
