Keeping up with Changes in Solid Waste Management

The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA), Oklahoma Indian
Nations Chapter, presents its 2010 Symposium on February 24 and 25. The
two-day event, to be held in Catoosa, Oklahoma, will feature technical tours
of local facilities and sessions on safety, compressed natural gas,
composting, recycling, E-waste and greenhouse gas reporting.

The symposium is co-sponsored by SWANA, USDA Rural Development and Oklahoma
Cooperative Extension Service to assist decision makers in improving and
maintaining efficient waste management operations. The primary audience for
this symposium is solid waste professionals, facility managers, community
leaders and others who deal with integrated waste management issues.

The $100 participant fee covers the symposium, exhibits, two lunches, break
refreshments and bus tour. For more information, and to pre-register or
exhibit, contact Sherry Greathouse at 918-478-6025 or
sherry.greathouse at cn-bus.com. The conference brochure and registration
forms may also be downloaded from this website:
