[OKC] Community Service Alert: Martin Park Nature Center needs help with flood cleanup!

Here is an opportunity to help one of our urban wildlife habitats with
after-flood cleanup.

with flood cleanup!



 

Martin Park is in desperate need of volunteers that can come out with a
shovel and maybe a wheelbarrow to shovel silt off the trails.

ANYONE can volunteer (one time volunteers do not need to do the city
background check).

Come for one hour or as long as you can.

 

Friends of Martin Park will supply a certificate for anyone needing
proof of community service.

The park is closed until Friday but volunteers are needed right away.

 

Call Casey Lindo, Martin Park Naturalist, at cell phone# 210-3813 and
she will make arrangements to open the gates for you.
