Kansas Unveils Rail Expansion Study

The Kansas Department of Transportation has unveiled a study that
identifies four possible passenger rail routes from Kansas City to Fort
Worth, Texas. 

According to this article from the Associated Press, two of the proposed
routes are day routes, and two are for night travel. The routes link
''the corridor with the line between Texas and Oklahoma and the line
between Chicago and Los Angeles. The new routes would return rail
service to Wichita, which lost its passenger trains when Amtrak cut
routes in 1979.''
