Our 4-H Gardening After-School Club Planning Team will meet this Thursday,
May, 6th at 10 a.m. at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Center. (Directions
to 930 N. Portland Ave. are below)

Update on Sequoyah Elementary School plans with 4-H for Green Friends
Gardening After-School Club to begin August 1, 2010. (Sue Tarr)
Plans for Enrollment Activities at Sequoyah School on Friday May 14th. (

Funding possibilities (Kyle Worthington)
Blueprint of land to be used and possible layouts. (Sue Tarr, Laurie
Wickencamp)
Advance Community and Professional Volunteer recruiting (Sue Tarr)
Breakout into 4 Teams planning sessions to plan for May 25th and ongoing
Team Work:

#1. Sue Tarr- Gardening Education and Hands on Gardening Team
#2. Sherri Assaleh and Jay Winfrey- Snacks, nutrition, cooking, vegetable
marketing, exercise and community building Team

relations. School selection, start up, creation of the garden space Team
Directions to our meeting Thursday: The Oklahoma County OSU Extension
Center, located at 930 N. Portland Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73017. We are the
single story, buff brick building with black and orange trim, and are
located just North of the double drive entrance to the OSU Oklahoma City
Campus, on the East Side of Portland Ave. (Just South of the Intersection
of 10th and Portland). We have parking on the North side of our building
and on the South Side. We will meet in the South Classroom.
