[OKC] FW: The SandRidge plan downtown OKC

FYI - We received the attached document yesterday from a local architect and
concerned citizen. Prepared by Preservation Oklahoma, the document covers
the proposed SandRidge complex in downtown OKC which will require the
destruction of six buildings. Along with preservation issues, there are also
concerns related to the walkability and sustainability of the plan. This
document discusses some of those. 

 

Thurs., May 20 at 1:30 p.m. there will be a meeting in city council chambers
for an appeal to be heard at the Board of Adjustments meeting. Those wishing
to comment on the plan need to be there.
