Subject: Sierra Club Movie Night: "Dirt!", the movie

 

In case you missed "Dirt!" on PBS during Earth Week or would like to show it
to friends, here is your chance to see a free screening.

"Dirt!", the movie will be screened by the Sierra Club Cimarron 'Group at
7:30 pm, Friday on May28th at Java Dave's, Upstairs, 10 NE 10th St, OKC.
The movie is an insightful and timely film that tells the story of the
glorious and unappreciated material beneath our feet.  Inspired by William
Bryant Logan's book "Dirt:  The Ecstatic Skin of the Earth", the film takes
a humorous and substantial look into the history and current state of the
living organic matter that we come from and will later return to.  "Dirt!"
will make you want to get dirty.  Refreshments and snacks will be served
starting at 7 pm for the pre-movie social half-hour.
