Subject: [OSN Announce] gardening meeting

 

This month's gardening meeting and composting at Sue and Tom Tarr's has been
cancelled.  However, Jack and JoAnn Scott have offered to have the meeting
at their home in Crescent.  JoAnn is a master gardener and an organic
grower.  Jack handles a large, free-range chicken operation as well as
raising grass-fed beef for the Rowdy Stickhorse label.  These products are
largely organic.  They are available through the Oklahoma Food Coop and off
the farm.  Jack is also in demand for his famous barbeque.  The meeting will
start at 3:00 P. M. on Sunday, May 30th with a potluck meal to follow.  The
Scott's live at 3473 N. Highway 74 Service Road in Crescent.  That is 2
miles north of Highways 74 and 33 on the west side.  For more information,
