[OKC] A Special Presentation on hydrofracking - Sustainable Edmond- Oct 27th

Sustainable Edmond invites the public to a presentation by Taylor Shinn, Senior Director of Corporate Development for Chesapeake Energy Corporation, on the subject of hydrofracking, and natural gas recovery.  This presentation will be on Wednesday, October 27, at 6:30 PM at the Edmond Public library.  The method, more accurately described as hydraulic – fracturing, uses massive amounts of pressured solution composed of water, sand and chemicals to crack rocks housing natural gas deposits, allowing the escaping gas to be collected.
No entrance fee.  Refreshments will be available.
