You're invited to EVOLVE, a juried art exhibition & fundraiser, exploring
sustainability, resilience & community. It's all about local art, food, fun
and honoring Earth Day. 

 

*        Sat., April 23, 7 p.m.

*        Individual Artists of Oklahoma (IAO), 706 W. Sheridan, downtown OKC
on historic film row

 

EVOLVE supports the work of Sustainable OKC and IAO. Tickets on sale at
www.sustainableokc.org or, starting tomorrow, at IAO, 706 W. Sheridan,
downtown OKC, on historic film row, or at the door the evening of the event.
Some of Sustainable OKC's programs include Green Drinks, Buy Fresh Buy
Local, Transition OKC. Please feel free to forward and share this
invitation. We hope to see you there!

 

*        34 art works out of 81 submitted juried into the exhibition

*        EVOLVE Local Food Challenge features six Oklahoma City chefs /
caterers / restaurants competing and presenting their dish made with as many
local ingredients as possible

*        3-person panel of jurors will select Food Challenge contestants to
receive a $500 juried prize and runner-up prize of farm-to-table dinner for
two to Living Kitchen Farm & Dairy near Depew

*        You vote for your favorite dish to honor one of the Food Challenge
contestants with the People's Choice Award / $1 raffle ticket = 1 vote /
vote as many times as you like

*        Raffle ticket votes also enter you into drawings for gift bags full
of local goodies, gift cards and treats

*        Music by thespyfm.com 

*        Additional programming during the run of the exhibition includes: 

o   Free screening of film "The Economics of Happiness," IAO, Thurs., April
28, at 7 p.m.

o   Free gallery talk, "Permaculture and the Art of Transition," by Randy
Marks & Shauna Struby, IAO, Tues., May 3, 6 p.m.
