What is Moving Planet OK?
Action, Art, Education, Fun
On the morning of September 24th, we'll cycle, walk, and skate on a two-mile round trip from the Womb Gallery (25 NW 9th St.) to Oklahoma City Hall to create an art petition for health and sustainability.
We'll return to a festival with educational workshops and activities, food and drink. The Moving Planet OK event and festival will be free and open to the public. Find out more at our come-and-go meet and greet on August 24th or visit our website at movingplanetok.org.
Moving Planet Oklahoma is part of an international day of action organized by 350.org to promote clean energy, clean air and people-powered transportation.
Thank you for all your efforts to improve Oklahoma's health and sustainability. We believe that by joining forces with community partners at this event, we will demonstrate that clean air and water, clean energy, nutritious food, health and wellness, and fitness are a top priority for the people of Oklahoma. Join the action for a top-10 state - show our state that you care.
Sincerely,
