We're a district about creativity, handmade, DIY and re-purposed. That's why
this summer project is going to be so fun-and we need your help!

This summer, we will be accepting donations of patio/outdoor seating and
pots. Have you recently gotten new outdoor furniture? We'd be happy to take
your old furniture so we can reuse it for you to sit in our district! We
will be repainting donated chairs and tables to use in our outdoor public
space.  We're also accepting pots so we can have more vegetation. We've got
so much concrete and we need more places for people to sit and enjoy the
district! We are excited to bring you a more comfortable, hang out friendly
district this fall! So, here is what we need:

Outdoor chairs- metal and wood only, in decent condition. We do not need
chairs that have cushions.

Outdoor tables- bistro or 4 tops. Glass, metal and wood, in decent condition

Pots- Plain, no patterns, at least 18 inch diameter. Clay, metal, plastic or
wood. Any shape!

If you aren't sure if is something we need, feel free to send us a pic and

Donations can be dropped off at Collected Thread/DNA Galleries Mon-Sat 11-7.

The Plaza District is a neighborhood commercial district boasting Oklahoma
City's local arts flavor. Located on NW 16th between Classen and Penn Ave,
the Plaza District is home to art galleries, studios, retail shops,
restaurants, and creative services the renovated Plaza Theatre for Lyric at
the Plaza. This district, once blighted by urban decay now boasts a renewed
energy embraced by Oklahoma City's youth and diverse culture. Each Second
Friday of the month from 7-11pm, enjoy LIVE on the Plaza, a monthly artwalk
featuring live music, featured artists, special events and local shopping.
The Plaza District Association is a non-profit 501c(3) organization working
to revitalize the area, to support district businesses and offer arts
opportunities and experiences to the community.
