The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry's Wellness
Committee would like to formerly invite all Oklahoma State employees to
ODAFF's Farmers Market.


Location: ODAFF parking lot, corner of 28th Street & Lincoln Blvd.

(2800 N. Lincoln Blvd.)

Dates: Every Tuesday starting May 31 and ending Mid-October

Time: 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

boasts of locally grown fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and Made-In-Oklahoma
(MIO) products. The market is an integral part of the Department's
commitment to support small and midsize local farm producers and
Made-In-Oklahoma products.  Farmers markets are good for your health, good
for your community and good for Oklahoma's economy.

Agriculture's Farmers Market is projected to have: Cantaloupes, peaches,
nectarines, watermelons, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries.  We
will also have: Sweet corn, cabbage, cucumbers, okra, bell peppers, purple
hull peas, jalapeno peppers, turnips, green and red tomatoes, carrots,
greens, beets,  lettuce, swiss chard, zucchini and yellow squash, radishes,
sweet potatoes, yellow and green onions, garlic, herbs, black-eyed peas,
green beans, eggplant, pumpkins, cut and bedding flowers and local beef.
This list is contingent upon favorable weather conditions and could change.
