Does anybody have the name of a local chiengora weaver? For those not familiar with the term, chiengora is the soft fur brushed off dogs that can be weaved into yarn. (chien [French for Dog] + Angora.) Items made from chiengora are warmer than wool and Native people of North America have done this practice for hundreds of years in areas where there weren't any sheep.

There are advertisements in magazines and on the internet where one sends in their dog hair and somebody spins it into yarn, but I was wondering if there was somebody local.
