Lake Overholser/Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge Clean-Up (April 23; 8:30am - 1:30pm)
The 6th annual Lake Overholser/Stinchcomb Wildlife Refuge Clean-Up will be held beginning at 8:30am on 4/23. We are meeting at the Lake Overholser Pavilion which is located around NW 14th and East Overholser Drive. For those who want to clean-up these areas by canoe/kayak, OKC Kayak will be providing the watercraft at no charge. Those who are interested in joining the flotilla should e-mail Rodney Boegel at rodneyboegel at att.net. However, most of the volunteers will be needed on land.
The clean-up will continue until 12:30pm when we will meet for a free lunch provided by Earl's Rib Palace. Beverages are being provided by Pepsi.
During lunch, free prizes will be given away. In order to have enough supplies and food, we ask that those who are planning on attending let us know. Our Facebook link is: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Friends-of-Lake-OverholserStinchcomb-Wildlife-Refuge/105680642809050?v=app_2344061033
