SOLAR AND HAYBOX COOKING CLASS ANNOUNCEMENT

 

The Reskilling Group for Cimarron Sierra Club is holding a solar funnel
building & cooking and haybox cooking class on Saturday, June 11 (backup
date June 18- because we must have sun!) at Camp DaKaNi from 10a -2p.
Participants will be provided with materials and instruction in building
then using a solar funnel. Haybox cooking will be demonstrated. Instructor:
Kelley Smith. 

 

Class size is limited to 21 participants. Cost is $20 each (paid by check or
cash at the class). Sign up by e-mail to daperkins at cox.net or by phone to
Diane Perkins (Reskilling Coordinator) at (405)229-6147.  Deadline for
signup is June 8.

 

The Reskilling Group will take a break in classes for July. We will be back
with classes in solar battery building in August, tatting in Sept, dutch
oven cooking in Oct,  tool sharpening in Nov, and another canning class
after the first of the year. Stay tuned for details and signups for these
upcoming classes.
