I am pleased to announce that Resource Associates' nonprofit arm (Capacity
Builders Inc.) is receiving the USDA Rural Cooperative Development Grant.
Over the next 12 months, we will be working throughout the Navajo Nation -
assisting our partners to form artists and agricultural co-ops. Such
assistance will be in the form of consulting, training, 501(c)3 development,
and funding/financial aid acquisition assistance. We are in the process of
recruiting one part time staff member to lead this project. A qualified
applicant is needed in New Mexico, on the reservation for at least one week
a month over the next year. Travel is covered by the grant. Moreover, the
qualified consultant must have a track record of 501(c)3 development,
strategic planning/business plan development, and have experience in the
development and building of rural co-ops. Additionally, you will need to
recognize that this service -while being offered free to tribal entities -
is one of value and therefore must support the co-ops in retaining our
fee-based services after the grant is concluded. If you feel you are a
qualified consultant who could meet these criteria, please forward a one
paragraph description of your qualifications along with an updated resume to
Deb Montgomery: associates at grantwriters.net

Thanks So Much, for all you contribute to our mission!
