Discover the fundamentals and then some, of the LEED Performance Green
Building rating systems including LEED for Homes. Learn about the building
blocks of the LEED Rating Systems and how they can have a dramatic positive
impact on our nation, our city, your neighborhood and home.

LEED is a roadmap to sustainable, green new and existing residential,
commercial, healthcare and school buildings.  

 

Presenter:

Gary Shlifer MS, LEED AP BD+C, Homes is Architect and Engineering Firm CH
Guernsey's resident Green Building Professional and Chief Sustainability
Professional. He has lead project teams through the sustainable design
process and LEED Certification for projects in Florida, Oklahoma, Texas and
North Carolina. He's been part of the Performance Green Building Movement
for more than 15 years and a breath of knowledge covering energy and water
conservation, renewable energy, indoor air quality, environmentally
preferable products, sustainable landscape, storm water management and waste
stream reduction. He is a Board Member of the US Green Building Council -
Oklahoma and Green Schools Committee.
