[OKC] PlanOKC Goal Development Workshop September 23

I attended the first goal development workshop last night in Oklahoma City
and while a number of people were there, the session could have benefitted
from better attendance. 

 

Oklahoma City's planning department is working hard to engage with and
solicit input from all of us and their process is very inclusive with plenty
of opportunities and avenues for thoughtful input. The session is set up in
such a way that each person can determine set how much feedback and input
they wish to provide and determine individually how much time they want to
invest in the process.

 

This is the city's first comprehensive plan in many years so please consider
making time for the next workshop on Fri. - details on time and place below.

The dates for the Goal Development Workshops have been set. Thanks to
everyone who responded to the survey about best days and times to hold the
workshops. The format and content of the workshops will be the same so you
would only need to attend one, but are welcome to attend both.

The workshops will offer you a chance to develop goals that address the
overarching issues identified in the first phase of the public input
process. You will also be able to identify ways to measure progress toward
reaching those goals. 

 

The format of the workshops will include brief instructions about the goal
setting process, and then you are free to participate at 15 different goal
stations at your own pace. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you
