Help teens keep plants off drugs!
Support youth community gardens making compost
For just $10
How often can you support composting, chemical-free community gardening, and at-risk teens learning life-skills - all with just $10?
This week, you can. During the entire week before Earth Day, Transition OKC is partnering with Groupon to ask for donations to build compost bins and purchase tools needed to help a community garden run by at-risk youth.
All of your donations - 100% of funds raised - will help the Closer to Earth youth. The teens make compost, transforming leftover food and yard waste into fertile soil, and use the compost in their community gardens to grow fresh produce, half of which they donate to local food pantries.
Grassroots Groupon campaigns use the power of the people to raise funds, so please donate, and spread the word on e-mail, Facebook and Twitter!
