A Rain Barrel Workshop has been scheduled for January 21st at 8 am at
Forest Lumber in Norman. If you are interested in attending this workshop
to receive a free rain barrel, please visit www.greennorman.org to
register. The site DOES NOT have the registration open yet, so check with
it daily and register. We have limited number of barrels, and this
workshop is restricted to Norman Residents Only!
We are working to develop as similar workshop in Moore. Look for it soon!
Blue Thumb New Volunteer Training will be held on January 28-29th in
Norman. New volunteers will learn how to perform water quality tests,
stream ecology, field collections, and how to educate the public about
pollution prevention and then be assigned a local stream to monitor. If
you are interested in attend this two day training, please let us know.
