font-family:Arial'> Urban Harvest is an urban agriculture program of the
Regional Food Bank of <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Oklahoma</st1:place></st1:State>.
The Food Banks mission is help the charitable community effectively feed people
in need. Urban Harvest assists in this by providing fresh produce to the
agencies we serve through various means to include growing produce at our
facility, working with local farmers in gleaning the produce they cannot sell
and by assisting in establishing and supporting community gardens in the OKC
area. With one employee dedicated to the program we depend heavily on
volunteers of all kinds to include a partnership with AMERICORP that provides
us with volunteers that are paid a stipend and other benefits to work for a
year with us. Currently we are in need of two individuals to fill slots that
are being vacated this month. The first slot is a gardening oriented position
that focuses on <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>gardening/youth gardening</span></b>
and the other position <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>works with produce in
the warehouse as well as assisting in our crop gleaning efforts</span></b>. The
details concerning the benefits of serving are as follows:<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
