City) Aug. 15, 2008 – Sustainable OKC (SOKC) recently launched a blog

to inform, educate, and spark discussion of sustainability issues.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"'>A diverse panel
of 13 local writers will contribute to the blog, discussing a wide range of
issues including local food production, energy, green design and building, conservation,
transportation, gardening, book reviews and many other related topics. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

goal was to create an open conversation that brings the community together to not
only raise awareness of sustainability issues, but to also create an active dialogue
that is locally relevant,” said Shauna Struby, president of Sustainable
OKC. “There is overwhelming interest in these kinds of discussions and Sustainable
OKC is pleased to take a leadership role in creating a forum for innovative
