opportunity!  The Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and OSU-OKC are
offering a training event on Rainwater Harvesting on Monday, March 8 from
10:30-2:30 at the Oklahoma County Extension Center at 930 N. Portland by the
campus of OSU-Oklahoma City.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

live ASCE Web/Teleconference Seminar<b><i> “Engineered Rainwater Collection and
Case Studies for Sustainable Water Management”</i></b> and a tour of the new
rainfall harvesting system at OSU-OKC.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

for the webinar, so we will be charging a nominal fee for this training which

webinar on Sustainable Water Management: Rainwater Collection Systems and
Analysis. The webinar provided practical tools and tips to select and analyze
rainwater collection systems. Design tips and operation and maintenance
strategies were also discussed. Engineered Rainwater Collection and Case
Studies for Sustainable Water Management takes this discussion a step further
and will examine several case studies to illustrate system components, design,
analysis, and operation.  Case studies include residential, commercial,

hydraulics, green infrastructure, detention, and Low Impact Development (LID).
She has extensive experience in water resources planning, analysis, and design
for land development, public works, and transportation projects. Walker is a
certified Permaculturist with a decade of hands-on construction and maintenance
experience with LID for small-scale residential applications.  She has
hands-on experience with a multitude of LID micro-concepts, such as: 
harvesting rainwater, constructing bioretention/rain gardens, altering time of
concentrations, amending soil, disconnecting impervious cover, removing impervious
