<div style="text-align: right;">******Please excuse cross-posting********<br></div><br>Dear Friends & Supporters, <br><br>As you have probably heard, the Environmental Protection Agency will be hosting TWO public hearings this month in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. These hearings are an opportunity to comment on the Federal Implementation Plan (FIP) for reducing regional haze that the EPA has proposed for Oklahoma. This is also an opportunity for us to tell the EPA and our state leaders that we want to see a clean energy future for Oklahoma, instead of a continued reliance on a dirty, outdated energy source like coal. <b>Please visit <a href="http://www.sierraclub.org/coal/ok" target="_blank">www.sierraclub.org/coal/ok</a> to learn more about the EPA's proposal and the Sierra Club's position. And don't forget to RSVP while you're there.</b> (Don't worry, we will give you the information you need to help you develop your comments-you don't have to sign up until you get there and you'll be given no less than 3 minutes no more than 5 to give your comments. Time limit will depend on how many people are in attendance.)<br>
<br>The Oklahoma City hearing is at the Metro Technology Centers, Springlake Campus, Business Conference Center, 1900 Springlake Dr. Oklahoma City, OK<br> <b>1-3PM:The EPA will host an "open house" or informal presentation with time to ask questions and get clarification on their proposal. <br>
4-6PM: the EPA will take public comments<br> 7-9PM: the EPA will take public comments<br></b><br>During the hearing in Oklahoma City, the Sierra Club will be hosting a press conference and a free dinner with a panel of speakers at the same location in a separate room. <br>
