commission member is appointed by the Mayor and approved by City Council, I am trying to get some professionals from fields like Landscape Architecture and Forestry to the pool of candidates. Urban Forestry Commission members must be citizens and residents
of Edmond. I know all of you do not live within Edmond’s City limits, but please help me to get the word out to any of your acquaintances who may be a good fit. Two of the specific goals the Commission has set for this year are to:
<u>Improve the City’s landscaping ordinance</u>, and <u>further develop urban forestry outreach programs</u>.
