Neighborhood Alliance recently received a request from an OU grad student
for participants in a walkability survey. If you live north of Reno and
west of Santa Fe/I-235, please participate! Below is the student's request:

I am a graduate student in Public Administration at OU, and for my master's
thesis I am writing a policy analysis on the walkability of neighborhoods in
NW Oklahoma City. By "walkable", I mean that a person can walk to most
everything he needs without a car, and public transportation is within
walking distance when longer trips are necessary. I realize that there are
very few neighborhoods like this in NW OKC, but I hope to identify some that
have many of the necessary elements already in place.

As part of my research, I have posted a short online survey for NW OKC
residents regarding the current level of walkability in their neighborhood.
I would like to get responses from as many NW OKC neighborhoods as possible,
and would appreciate any exposure you might be able to assist with. The
survey is located at <http://www.walkableokc.blogspot.com/>
www.walkableokc.blogspot.com, and will be up for about three more weeks.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
