Thanks for the link, Curtis. I'm forwarding this to the Sustainable OKC
discussion list in case there are others who would like to do this.

Great habit to start

	To Friends, Family, & Colleagues,

On January 1st, 2008 our family started a year long project
called "The Waste Diet". Our goal is to go the entire year producing as
minimal landfill waste as possible. We've been researching our project
and weighing our trash since October of last year and have just
completed our first official month. By changing our shopping habits,
getting serious about recycling and composting in the backyard, we've
been able to cut our monthly waste from 160lbs to only 23lbs. If you
want to read more about our project, please visit our website,
www.thewastediet.com <http://www.thewastediet.com/> . It is still a
work in the making so we welcome all of your comments, questions, and
suggestions for improvements. Please send your comments and all other
correspondence regarding our project to maren at thewastediet.com.

We'd like to create a 'buzz' for our project so you could do us
a huge favor and send our website link to ten (or more) of your friends
or people who you think would be interested in our project. We'll be
sending out monthly updates throughout the year.

Thanks for your help and your interest in our project!! We look
forward to hearing from you.
