APT April 21 Convenience Meetings
Get more involved in public transportations future here by coming to the
most convenient time of either coalition meeting to learn and then feel
free to express yourself! You may soon receive an Evite to the twin event
but you can RSVP to this email too.
Spread the word: APT meetings are open to all!
Place:
1000 N. Broadway, the new handsome offices of the Oklahoma City Community
Foundation. Park in their unmarked lots just east of the Harvey Supplies
building on Tenth Street, or park along Broadway.
Time:
Noon Lunch catered by Beatnix Café ($6.00 for sandwiches, cookies, tea,
etc.-please RSVP and pay at the door) and the program starts at 12:15, ends
at 1:15 (one can just observe or brownbag).

5:15 p.m. after work, program starts at 5:30. Suggestion: attend the
Festival of the Arts afterward.
Agenda:
This spring the Oklahoma Alliance for Public Transportation, or APT, (
<http://www.okapt.org> www.okapt.org ) is blooming with new life and energy!
Be part of that and help the APT move on to a new state of independent
thought. Meet its Board and
· hear a short presentation on what the APT coalition does and has
been doing
· learn basics about four rapidly advancing transit initiatives
related to bus, streetcar, rapid transit, disability travel, and trains,
and more
· tell briefly what you think the APT should do to have more impact on
these initiatives here and across the state
· get more involved
