Subject: [ok-sus] Invitation to special limited release of new Oklahomaonline hub "for the rest of us"

I am sending this on to some Oklahoma listservs whose members may be
interested in this new online news site for Oklahoma.

I want to invite you to visit, and join as a charter member, a new
site designed to be an alternative news hub in OKC. I've been doing
the tech end of it, working with a small group of other activists.

It's our chance to create a thriving, interesting, potentially
game-changing online source for news and opinion to counteract the
traditional media news/opinion blockade for non-conservative points of
view.

Please go to http://oklahomacitizen.org and explore, create and
account, start posting and commenting on others' posts. It's going
fully public in a couple of days, so we need it pre-populated and
thriving for the big reveal.

By posting now, you can not only help the site and its mission, but
also potentially help to further promote the news, events and ideas
you post about. We will be doing an all out promotion next week. This
is your chance to reach a lot of new eyes.

Despite my best efforts, you are bound to find some glitches and
encounter some confusion or problems. Let me know anything like that,
as well as any ideas for improvement you might have.

Again, the link is http://oklahomacitizen.org

Thanks for all you do in our community. I hope Oklahoma Citizen can be
useful to you and your work.

Rena
