Currently the city ordinance requires a minimum of 1 acre of land in order
to house chickens within the city-limits (Ordinance #22.384.).   Recently,
several city residents have expressed interest in raising chickens on
owner-occupied residential properties smaller than one acre.  This practice
is typically referred to as "urban chickens" or "backyard chickens."  


          


          The City of OKC and Neighborhood Alliance would like to know your
opinion regarding possible changes to the backyard chickens ordinance.  The
following survey should take less than 1 minute to complete. To share this
form with neighbors who you think will be interested in this issue, you can
click the "forward email" link at the bottom of this page.


          


          If you would like to research surrounding issues prior to taking
